This annual award will be presented to one 4H participant who best exemplifies the spirit of 4H by his/her attitude, demeanor and treatment of others and acceptance of victory or defeat graciously.
The award will be based on the following criteria to the person who displays the following characteristics:
- Strong personal commitment to goals with an independent spirit
- Dedication to family
- Promotes and demonstrates good sportsmanship and ethical conduct in and out of competitions.
- Is a good role model and sets a good example for others
- Consistently acts with integrity and respect for others across all endeavors.
- Is enthusiastic, honest and helpful
Participants must currently be a 4H member in good standing and participate in the 2024 Prairieland Jr Ag Showcase.
Each Club leader will be asked to nominate one member from their club via email to lhurlburt@prairielandpark.com by July 6. The winner will be announced with other awards prior to the steer sale.
